The Xavier School of Management (XLRI) will be conducting Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) on January 3, 2016.
The candidates can check the instructions below:
- The candidates must carry the admit card to the examination centre, failing which, they will not be allowed to sit for the exam
- All answers should be marked only on the (OMR) answer sheet. The candidates should use the margin in the test booklet for rough work. No other piece of paper is allowed
- The candidates should use only blue or black ball-point pen. They should not use gel pens or ink pens
The candidates should note that failure to follow instructions and examination norms will lead to disqualification.
The exam will comprise of Quantitative Ability, English Language & Logical Reasoning, Decision Making, GK and Essay.
This year, the candidates will witness a few changes in the examination. The total number of questions have been brought down to 78. It will be held for a duration of 170 minutes. The candidates must note that there will be negative marking; one fourth mark will be deducted as a penalty for an incorrect answer. If the candidate does no attempt a question, his/her marks will be deducted, however, the candidates can leave a maximum of 13 questions.
